Retinal sits one conversion step away from Retinoic Acid — the active form of Vitamin A the skin actually uses. HOW TO USE
PM use only.
Weeks 1–2: Apply every other night. After cleansing and toner, apply 2–3 drops to targeted areas. Press gently into skin. Follow with moisturiser. Avoid the eye area.

Next morning: Always apply UV protection as the last step of your AM routine. Retinal increases sun sensitivity.

The 0.1% in this formula is considered a strong but cosmetically appropriate starting dose.
Will this serum cause peeling or skin purging?
Some users experience mild dryness or a brief adjustment phase when first introducing Retinal, especially if new to the ingredient. Starting every other night for the first two weeks and always following with a moisturiser helps significantly. Consistent use of UV protection the next morning is essential, as Retinal increases photosensitivity. If significant irritation occurs, reduce frequency and consult a dermatologist.
Can I use this serum with Niacinamide or Vitamin C in my routine?
Yes. The formula already contains Niacinamide, which complements Retinal by supporting the skin barrier and evening tone.
