Your skin has been doing its best. But fine lines show up where they weren't before. Pores look larger than you remember. And no matter what you apply, something feels... off. This is what happens when skin starts losing collagen faster than it builds it.

The Celimax Retinal Shot Booster works at that exact point. With 0.1% Retinal — the step just above Retinol in potency — and a Matrixyl 3000 peptide complex, it supports your skin's natural renewal process from the inside out. Not a quick-fix. A real, gradual shift toward firmer, smoother, tighter skin.

HOW IT WORKS

Three active systems work together in this formula:

Retinal (0.1%) — liposomised for stability and skin compatibility
Retinal sits one conversion step away from Retinoic Acid — the active form of Vitamin A the skin actually uses. That means it works faster and more efficiently than standard Retinol, with less irritation when introduced gradually. It supports cell turnover, collagen production, and visible improvement in fine lines, texture, and skin firmness over time.

Matrixyl 3000 (3%) — Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7
One of the most studied peptide complexes in cosmetics. It works by encouraging collagen and elastin synthesis — the structural proteins responsible for firmness and bounce. The result over time: plumper, more resilient skin.

A-Shot™ Technology — 20,250 microparticles per use
Celimax's proprietary delivery system uses refined microparticles 16 times thinner than the average pore. They physically carry active ingredients deeper into the skin — improving absorption and reducing surface irritation. A mild tingling during application is normal and indicates the A-Shot is working.

Supporting actives: Niacinamide (pore refinement, even tone), Panthenol 1% (barrier support, soothing), Adenosine (visible wrinkle reduction), Tocopherol — Vitamin E (antioxidant protection).

No fragrance. No parabens. No harsh alcohols. Lightweight texture that absorbs cleanly.

⚠️ This product contains Retinal, which increases photosensitivity. Always apply UV protection the morning after use. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If new to Retinal, start 2–3 times per week and build gradually. If irritation occurs, reduce frequency and consult a dermatologist.

GOOD FOR
  • Skin showing early signs of ageing — fine lines, loss of firmness
  • Enlarged or visible pores
  • Uneven skin texture
  • Dull or congested skin needing cell turnover support
  • Those ready to introduce a Retinal into their routine

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Patch test recommended for first-time Retinal users.

HOW TO USE

PM use only.

Weeks 1–2: Apply every other night. After cleansing and toner, apply 2–3 drops to targeted areas. Press gently into skin. Follow with moisturiser. Avoid the eye area.

Week 3 onwards: Increase to nightly use based on skin tolerance.

Next morning: Always apply UV protection as the last step of your AM routine. Retinal increases sun sensitivity.

Note: A slight yellow tint after application is normal and washes off completely with your next cleanse.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between Retinal and Retinol?

Retinal (Retinaldehyde) is one conversion step closer to Retinoic Acid — the active form of Vitamin A the skin uses — compared to Retinol, which requires two steps. This makes Retinal more potent and faster-acting at the same percentage, while still being gentler than prescription-strength options. The 0.1% in this formula is considered a strong but cosmetically appropriate starting dose.

Will this serum cause peeling or skin purging?

Some users experience mild dryness or a brief adjustment phase when first introducing Retinal, especially if new to the ingredient. Starting every other night for the first two weeks and always following with a moisturiser helps significantly. Consistent use of UV protection the next morning is essential, as Retinal increases photosensitivity. If significant irritation occurs, reduce frequency and consult a dermatologist.

Can I use this serum with Niacinamide or Vitamin C in my routine?

Yes. The formula already contains Niacinamide, which complements Retinal by supporting the skin barrier and evening tone. If you use a separate Vitamin C serum, apply it in the morning and use this Retinal Booster at night — keeping them in separate routines allows each ingredient to work at its optimal time.
